Mobile Health Coordinator - Clemson Rural Health Clinic in Orangeburg

The Clemson Rural Health team is continuing to expand across the state of South Carolina and coming to the Orangeburg region. Clemson Rural Health is the organizing framework for Clemson’s health service delivery and prevention efforts statewide and seeks to reduce preventable hospitalization, premature death, and enhance health behaviors. Clemson Rural Health is comprised of a unique, interprofessional team focused on primary care and prevention to underserved and rural communities across South Carolina, including on campus at Clemson University. We operate brick and mortar clinic sites, a fleet of mobile health units, and virtual clinic visits in the delivery of this mission while training future health professions through hands-on student learning experiences.  

The Mobile Health Coordinator is responsible for coordinating efforts of the mobile health unit and team, while delivering evidence based, lifestyle education using appropriate technology platforms to patients in rural South Carolina. Primary driver/operator of the mobile health unit. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Education -  High School Diploma or Equivalent and experience or training within the specific work area; Work Exp 1+ years in clinical or pre-hospitalization care; experience driving medical units; Licenses - Drivers License Class D normal < 26,000.

Preferred Requirements:

Certifications - EMT-PARAMEDIC; Work Exp 3+ years working in prehospital care and/or with clinics; Current state/national registered certification as paramedic; current BCLS; current ACLS.

Standard Hrs: 37.5;  Expected Salary Rate: ($ 38,906.00 - $ 52,000.00)
