Marlboro County Emergency Medical Services are transitioning into a 24/72 shift rotation.  We are currently recruiting EMT-B, Advanced EMT, Paramedic,  Relief Supervisor, and EMS Operations Supervisor. 

Marlboro County EMS utilizes progressive treatment protocols such as heads up CPR with the a neuro protective approach, TXA,  Ketamine, and Heparin in STEMI patients.  We also utilize the LUCAs CPR devices, Stryker PowerLoad Units,  Stryker tracked stairchairs, airtraq video largyoscopy.  

Marlboro County EMS provides a comprehensive in service training program that employees are compensated to attend.

Compensation:

EMT-Basic $13.52 hourly and $37,173 Annually

Advanced EMT $15.08 hourly and $41,462 Annually

Paramedic $18.23 hourly and $50,123 Annually

Relief Supervisor $18.81 and $51,800 Annually

EMS Operations Supervisor $20.11 and $55,292 Annually
