Description : 

Under regular supervision, this position provides effective and proper supervision of shift operations and
activities of subordinates; exercising judgment in dealing with patients and in various situations; and
strives to ensure prompt response to emergency calls.

The Paramedic Shift Supervisor works under stressful, high-risk conditions, and works on a stand-by basis. Duties include thorough knowledge in first aid and advanced life support methods; knowing how to maintain emergency vehicles and related equipment, supplies and materials; skilled in administering first aid and CPR as needed, as well as other
medical treatments and assistance; and knowledgeable in all proper techniques used by Paramedics, i.e.
spinal immobilization, etc. The Paramedic Shift Supervisor reports to the Director of Emergency Medical
Services. 

Wages

$22.00 Hr. w/ yearly salary expectancy of $52,536 State Benefits, SC Retirement, Vacation, paid Holidays and Sick Leave Benefits.
